Evening and Saturday courses

Description

Develop your French speaking and writing skills with our extensive evening and Saturday group course programs. These courses are perfectly suited for people who work during the day or who wish to progress on a regular basis.

Our quarterly evening classes take place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., for 4 hours a week over 12 weeks (48 hours in total).

Our July evening classes take place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., for 4 hours a week over 4 weeks (16 hours in total).

Our monthly evening classes take place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., for 4 hours a week over 4 weeks (16 hours in total). They are intended for anyone with little or no schooling in their country of origin who wishes to improve their writing skills. This course is useful for preparing for the Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) or the Test d’Evaluation du Français (TEF) exam.

Our monthly Saturday class is taught by visioconference every Saturday from 10am to 12pm, for 2 hours a week over 4 weeks (8 hours in total). It is aimed at students with a false beginner or elementary level in French who want to gain confidence in speaking.

At the end of your chosen programme, you will receive a level certificate confirming your language level in relation to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). You can also take the Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) or the Test d’Evaluation du Français (TEF) in order to obtain a state-recognized diploma in French.

  • General French (quarterly/summer) : A0 to C1 (Beginner to advanced)
  • General French (Saturday): False beginner/A1 (Elementary)
  • Refresher course in writing (monthly) : from B1 level, educated students and students with little schooling

Evaluations

To help us assess your level:

  • A placement test at the time of registration to join the group of your level
  • An evaluation at the end of your training to check your mastery of the important points of the week’s program
  • A change of level validated by an evaluation of the 4 skills of the CEFR.
