Yes, at Elfe, we strongly believe it ! This is why we combine our active and stimulating learning method with numerous activities to immerse you in the French culture, applied to different domains: gastronomy, oenology, fashion… These activities are an opportunity to learn more about the French know-how, but also to establish links with other students.

Excursions

During your stay, go on a guided tour of Paris with one of our teachers.

In the course of an afternoon, our professional guide Isabelle will reveal to you the backstage of the Opera Garnier, the anecdotes of the hectic life of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the meanders of the Marais, the multiple faces of the Butte Montmartre, the picturesque lanes of the Ile de la Cité, and you will push the back doors to discover a Paris often unknown and full of surprises.

Gastronomy

Since 2010, French gastronomy is listed as a World Cultural Heritage by the United Nations. Take advantage of your stay in Paris to immerse yourself in this culinary culture by taking a cooking class with the Atelier des Chefs.

In a dedicated space, a professional will show you how to prepare a simple dish or a full menu with everyday ingredients. The cooking classes will last from 30 minutes to 3 hours, during which you will be asked to get your hands dirty! After some practical exercises, you will have the opportunity to taste the dish you have just prepared with the other participants.

Oenology

Our oenology class is organized at school. During our discovery workshops you will learn about the history of wine, how it is made, and the vocabulary to define it.

The workshop will take place in a warm atmosphere and will enable you to learn about oenology in a fun and pleasant way. You will learn to distinguish between wines and to talk about the different wines and regions of France. Progressively, you will discover how to observe, smell, and taste French wines.
