The TEF (Test d’évaluation de français) is an international reference test that allows you to validate your skills in French. This test is officially recognized by the French Ministry (Interior, Education, Higher Education, Research and Innovation) but also by the Quebec and Canadian Immigration Ministries.
You will receive a level certificate, valid for 2 years. This certificate will assess your French level (from A1 to C2) on the scale of competence defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). For more information on the test, click here.

The certificates of results are dematerialized (digital).
4 to 6 weeks after your exam, you will receive an e-mail with a link that will allow you to retrieve your results certificate. You will be able to print it in color and present it to the concerned services.
