Lutetia, the ancient Gallic city on the banks of the Seine, has evolved over time to become the dynamic metropolis we know today. This journey will take you from the ancient origins of Paris to the iconic Pantheon building, exploring the transformations that have left their mark on the city.

Visit the Panthéon to admire the frescoes depicting the history of Sainte-Geneviève, and explore the crypt where illustrious figures from French history are laid to rest.

The program

We’ll start with a visit to the Lutetia arena, an exceptional vestige of the Gallo-Roman period.

Then we’re off to climb Mont Sainte Geneviève.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the origin of rue Mouffetard’s bad reputation as a student hangout.

The Pantheon will remind you to always keep your promises. For a very long time, students were grouped together by nationality in the various colleges, but you’ll find that life there wasn’t always very pleasant.

The tour ends with the Luxembourg garden and palace, born of a queen’s nostalgia.
