These lessons are for students who are beginners. The objective of these lessons is to build a foundation of communicative competence in order to help students make themselves understood and to understand very simple situations in daily life.

The objective of the B1 lessons is to help the student fill in any gaps with a quick revision of skills acquired in level A2 and to lead them towards independence. It is made up of 2 sub-levels B1.1 (125 hours) and B1.2 (125 hours).

The different preparation options are as follows:

- Preparation for A-Levels and Arbitur: 15 hours per week of exam preparation in mini-groups

- Preparation for DELF/DALF and TCF exams: 15 hours per week in mini-groups + 10 hours one-to-one tuition

- Preparation for the TCF ANF: 2 hours preparation for the Test de Connaissance du Français Accès à la Nationalité

"From 1 January 2019, all sessions will now be computer-based. We will no longer offer sessions on paper. If people are not familiar with this tool, please contact us by e-mail. Solutions can be proposed to you.

The applications are to be made in person from Monday to Friday at 15, rue Montmartre, 75001 Paris

The day of the exam you will need to present a valid piece of identification with a photo and the exam invitation.

Further information:
An invitation will be sent to you by e-mail only at the latest one week before the date of your exam. If you have not received it one week before the exam date, we invite you to contact us by email at the following address: [email protected]

The results will be available within a maximum of three weeks at the school. The availability of your certificate in our test centre will be communicated to you by e-mail. The certificates are to be collected at the school. If you want someone close to you to pick up your results, you must provide them with a power of attorney and a copy of your ID, which they will give us.

TIMETABLE

15 hours preparation for A-Level and Arbitur:
Monday 10:00am–1:00pm, Tuesday to Friday 9:00am–12:00pm.

15 hours preparation + 10 hours DELF/DALF and TCF:
Monday 10:00am–1:00pm (group lessons) and from 2:00pm (one-to-one lessons),
Tuesday–Friday 9:00am–12:00pm (group lessons) and from 1:15pm (one-to-one lessons).

2 hour preparation for TCF ANF/TCF Resident:
Each Wednesday before the session from 2:00–4:00pm
